Overview
TikTok User Finder helps people look up publicly available TikTok account information. This policy explains what data we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
TikTok User Finder is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by TikTok or ByteDance.
Search Inputs and Results
When you submit a TikTok username, profile URL, or user ID, we process that input to retrieve public account information from our data provider.
- Search inputs are not retained by default.
- Search results are not published as indexable profile pages.
- We do not provide private account content, passwords, phone numbers, email addresses, IP addresses, or precise physical locations.
- A displayed region is an account-level signal. It may be historical or inaccurate and does not prove a person's current location.
Short-lived caching may be used to improve reliability, reduce upstream requests, and prevent abuse. Cache retention will be limited to what is operationally necessary.
Operational and Analytics Data
We may collect limited technical information such as request time, response time, result status, error category, browser type, device type, and an abbreviated or hashed network identifier.
We use this information to:
- operate and secure the service;
- enforce rate limits;
- diagnose failures;
- measure aggregate usage; and
- improve performance and usability.
Operational logs are designed not to include the submitted TikTok username. Analytics and cookies will only be enabled when configured and will be disclosed through the site's consent controls where required.
Accounts, Payments, and Support
Free single-account lookups do not require registration. If account, API, billing, or support features are introduced later, we may process the information needed to provide those features, such as an email address, account settings, payment status, and support messages.
Payment card details are processed by the selected payment provider and are not stored directly by TikTok User Finder.
Service Providers
We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, email, storage, payment processing, security, and public TikTok data retrieval. They may process information only as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy terms.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information:
- to service providers acting on our behalf;
- when required by law or a valid legal request;
- to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
- as part of a business transfer, subject to applicable law.
Retention and Security
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we control. You may also request correction or removal of account information displayed by the service.
